MISSION

• To offer and provide training, development and education, and to produce competent human resources, graduates, and scholars who have a strong Shariah knowledge combined with operational and management competencies in areas of Islamic Economics, Banking, Finance and Entrepreneurship.
• To promote and undertake theoretical and applied researches in areas of Islamic Economics, Banking, Finance and Entrepreneurship in order to develop and enhance interdisciplinary capacities, knowledge and practices of Islamic Banking, Finance and Entrepreneurship for the benefit of the industry as a whole.
• To establish strategic and smart partnership with the industry through the undertaking of joint research and development projects in strategics areas of Islamic products development with Shariah compliance, risk management, internet banking and global IT competencies, that would be marketable for the industry usage.
• To become a valuable contributor as domestic and global referral centre in the field of IBF training, research and development.
• To help promote and archieve the Maqasid al-Shariah in vast of Islamic Banking and Finance.

Global Centre for Islamic banking, Finance and Entrepreneurship (GCIBFE) aspires and will strife to become a global centre of excellence for training and development, education and research in Islamic banking, Finance and Entrepreneurship.

OBJECTIVES

• To provide a conducive and productive avenue for the development of interdisciplinary knowledge, skills and competencies in IBF through a strong capacity in training, research and development.
• To help produce multi-skilled and muliti-dimensional human resources and graduates with a combined Shariah and modern operational knowledge in Banking, Finance and Entrepreneurship.
• To promote Islamic Banking, Finance and Entrepreneurship system globally to the benefit of the whole world by bringing Islamic banking knowledge to the markets, including the conventional banking markets.
• To help achieve the objectives of Shariah in Islamic mu'amalat and work together with the industry towards achieving the holistic compliance to the Maqasid al-Shariah.
• To provide opportunities for internal resource persons and scholars at INSANIAH to enhance their knowledge, skills and competencies in IBF industry.
